What is the Fun City Courts?
. We are owned and operated by the Greater Burlington Area Sports Facilities, a 501c3 non-profit group. We are a separate entity from the Burlington RecPlex, which is owned and operated by the City of Burlington.
How do we enter Courts portion of the facility?
There is no direct entrance from the outside of the Courts portion of the FunCity
You must enter through a regular entrance of the FunCity Complex and then follow the signage to the FunCity Courtside/Courts Area
There will be a check in window to your right in the hallway that leads to the Courts
What do you have for seating?
We have portable bleachers as well as additional padded team bench chairs
Where should we park?
We suggest parking at the following locations:
- Parking Garage
- FunCity Resort Hotel parking area
- FunCity Complex Parking (by Huck’s Harbor/Dairy Queen)
Please do not park in neighboring lots of the yellow lined stalls by Dairy Queen.
We are not responsible for vehicles that get towed
What is the FunCity Courtside area?
Courtside is the area outside the courts area.
Located in that area is the snack shack, FunCity Hotel Pool, Ballocity and Duckpin Bowling. There is also a party room and ample open seating
Admission?
We accept cash or cards. We do not have apple/google pay
Our regular pricing is as followed
Open Gym
- Basketball/Volleyball Open Gym: $5 per participant
- Pickleball Open Gym: $10 per participant
Two hour session
Court Reservations
- Basketball/Volleyball: $40 per hour
- Pickleball: $25-$35 per hour, pending day/hour of the week
Admission prices for spectators at tournament and events may vary and is often set by event promoter
Where are the Restrooms/Water Fountains located at?
- Courtside: There is a men’s and women’s restroom in the Courtside area
- Courts: We have a men’s and women’s restroom in the pickleball area.
- Water fountain/Bottle Refill Station: In the pickleball area
Food/Beverage Options?
FunCity operates the Snack Shack in the courtside area as well as additional eating/beverage options in the complex
No outside food or beverage is allowed, we will make exemptions for bottled water and certain items that are planned ahead of time with the facility
No alcohol is allowed inside of the Courts. Alcohol purchased at the Courtside area must stay in the courtside area
